Studio 1 live room with a grand piano, pendant lamps, Persian rugs and a window into a drum booth

Recording studio

WedgeView Studios is located in the green heart of the Netherlands. Open skies, green meadows, cows and birds are our neighbors.

The studio

The studio is built in the former cow-stable of a farm. With the assistance of an acoustic designer we have tried to achieve a well balanced acoustics in every room. Not too “dry” and not too “wet” in the mix-down giving you flexibility to achieve the right sound. We have kept the typical Dutch small stable windows allowing for daylight to enter the studio.

In summer, days can be long and the daylight will keep you more alert. All 4 iso-booths allow for eye-contact with the other musicians and, although the sound is separated you still have the feeling that you are playing together! Every booth has his own climate controller.

Booth layout
studio 1

Three individually climate-controlled iso-booths surround a generous live room, giving you the flexibility to record full bands or separate instruments, all while maintaining visual contact between musicians. Despite sound isolation between rooms, the open sightlines keep the energy of playing together very much alive. Whether you're tracking a solo vocalist, a rhythm section, or a full ensemble, the layout adapts to your session.

we run on 100% solar energy

Both studios run on 100% solar energy. Our panels lie in the meadow right next to the studio, so every take, every mix and every night upstairs runs on the same sun that comes in through the stable windows.
